ISD present at an event at the Casa do Empresário de Macaíba

At the invitation of the Casa do Empresário de Macaíba, the General Director of the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD), Reginaldo Freitas Junior, spoke about the work carried out at ISD through the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS) It's from Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS). Other members of the Institution's Board of Directors detailed the areas in which the ISD operates: Jovan Gadioli, Administrative Director of ISD; lilian lisbon, CEPS manager; It is Edgard Morya, Manager of the IIN-ELS.

The activity brought together various authorities and members of the local trade and business community, including Auri Simplício, Deputy Mayor of Macaíba; Luiz Lacerda, president of the Macaíba Retail Trade Union; It is Venicio Gama Pacheco, president of the Chamber of Shopkeepers of Macaíba, in addition to representatives of other entities.

On the occasion, the ISD Board was able to show the public the evolution of the work carried out in the city, explaining how the Institute's axes of action contribute to a fairer and more humane transformation of the local reality, also providing socio-economic development. 

The deputy mayor mentioned the fact that the ISD promotes the so-called knowledge industry in the region and Freitas Júnior reaffirmed the importance of Macaibenses knowing what is done at the ISD and increasingly appropriating the history of more than a decade of work in the areas of neurosciences, neuroengineering, maternal and child health and people with disabilities.
