Happy Holidays message and inform about the ISD recess period

Posted in December 21, 2018

In 2018, the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) ends the year with a card having as a backdrop the panel made by Marcos Andruchak, plastic artist and Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN).

The work was a gift from Andruchak for the 10 years of the Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS) celebrated in 2018 and was produced collaboratively by users, students, employees and visitors. According to the artist's text, the CEPS panel “records the 10 years of the institution as a way of stamping teamwork, transformations and perspectives, both in human relations and in the responsibilities that involve humanization, health care, female strength, human rights, achievements, resistance to adversity and responsibility for social causes. A work of contemporary art in a geometricist style.”

Andruchak had the idea of presenting CEPS with his art, as a way of recognizing the assistance received by his son Kael in Multidisciplinary Autism Spectrum Disorder Care Service (SEMEA), multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary care offered by CEPS since 2016 to children and adolescents from Macaíba and the metropolitan region of Natal (RN) who have characteristics of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The panel developed and executed between August and October 2018 is displayed on the CEPS wall, in Macaíba (RN).

END OF YEAR RECESS:

O Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS) and the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS) will go into recess from December 22, 2018. The work of both ISD units will return to normal on the day January 02, 2019.
